This morning, I’m feeling a lot at once gratitude, grief, hope, and the need to pray.
First, let’s take a moment to pray for the victims of the attack in Be’er Sheva. The news this morning was heartbreaking. People lost their lives, others were badly injured, and families are waking up to a very different reality today. Please join me in praying for those who are hurting right now. May God comfort them, heal them, and be near to every person affected.
At the same time, I’m thankful. News of a ceasefire agreement between the United States, Israel, and Iran brings a sense of relief. After so much violence and tension, we finally have a chance to breathe. I’m praying this isn’t just a pause, but the start of real peace.
I also want to thank God for the leadership it took to avoid another war. I’m grateful that President Trump didn’t start something new, but helped bring an end to something that’s been going on far too long. That matters not just politically, but spiritually.
There’s still a long way to go. I’m praying for the hostages and their families. I’m praying they’re brought home safely, every one of them. And I’m also praying that the war in Gaza will end for the sake of all the people, on both sides, who want to go home, live in peace, and stop living in fear.
But more than anything, I’m praying that people’s hearts would turn to God. In times like these, when everything feels uncertain, I hope people begin to realize just how much we need Him. None of us are invincible. And maybe this moment can open the door for some to meet the One who brings real peace.
I’d love it if you’d join me in prayer this week. Not just for the ceasefire or the hostages but for something deeper. For healing, for repentance, for salvation.
Also, if you think of us on Friday, we’d really appreciate your prayers. We’re going back to Tel Aviv to spend time with the homeless and people struggling with drug addiction. We don’t go with big answers we just try to be present, listen, and show a little kindness. Please pray that the Holy Spirit gives us wisdom and the right words. Even one conversation can make a difference.
Let’s keep praying together. For peace. For people. And for God to move in ways we can’t yet see.
Dear Elias, may God bless your prayers and work that you do for CFI
I am joining you in prayer, Elias. May peace endure, hearts be changed, healing take place, and you and all at CFI be blessed.
I am thankful God is using you to be His hands and feet.🙏❤️🇮🇱✝️
