A Time to Rest — Visiting My Son in Romania

After many months of constant movement, ministry, and outreach across Israel, I was blessed with the opportunity to take a short break, a time of rest, reflection, and family.

Thank God, I was able to travel to Romania to visit my son, Edgar Maron, and his wonderful wife Daniela. The Lord opened the door for this trip, and I’m deeply grateful for the time we had together.

Romania was a peaceful change of pace. We spent our days surrounded by nature, breathing fresh air, riding bicycles, and simply enjoying the stillness, something that can be hard to find in the busy life of service. But more than anything, I cherished the time with my family. Sitting, talking, praying, and reading the Word together reminded me how rich even the simplest moments can be when God is at the center.

It wasn’t a vacation for the sake of comfort, it was a time of restoration. A chance to recharge, pray, and prepare for what’s next. Even in the quiet hills of Romania, I felt God speaking, reminding me that the work ahead is great, but His grace is greater.

Thank you to all who prayed, supported, and encouraged me. And thank you, Edgar, for opening your home and heart.

He restores my soul. He leads me beside still waters. — Psalm 23:3
