Thankful for the Car That Made This Work Possible

This article is simply to say thank you.

Before the car, getting around for ministry was hard. We relied on buses and trains, often carrying bags of clothes, food, and supplies by hand. Moving between locations took time, energy, and planning, and sometimes it limited what we could bring or where we could go. Even simple outreach days required a lot of effort just to arrive.

When the money to buy a car was donated for the use of the ministry, it changed how the work could function. It was not just a practical solution. It became a tool for serving. Since then, it has been used again and again for the work on the streets. Carrying food. Carrying supplies. Driving people to rehab centers. Meeting needs from one place to another.

With this car, we have been able to buy groceries and transport food for the homeless and for people struggling with addiction. We have been able to load heavy pots, boxes, and supplies for the soup kitchen. We have driven through rain, early mornings, and long days, knowing that without a vehicle, much of this simply would not happen.

Recently, this same car was used to pick up and deliver two wheelchairs. One for Achsan and one for Esther. Both of them needed them urgently. As mentioned in previous articles, Their situation had become dangerous. Without working wheelchairs, they were stuck, exposed, and unable to reach help. Now that the wheelchairs have been secured, we will take them tomorrow directly to Achsan and Esther. Being able to make that delivery is something we will not forget.

This is what your giving made possible. Not in theory, but in real life.

A car means food reaches people who cannot walk to a soup kitchen. It means supplies can be bought in one place and used in another. It means wheelchairs can move from a store to someone who desperately needs one. It turns intention into action.

We thank God for His faithful provision and steady care. What was given was not only a practical resource, but a means through which His mercy reaches people in real and tangible ways. We also thank every person who donated, supported, and continues to pray for the ministry, trusting that what was entrusted to us is being used responsibly and faithfully. Your generosity and prayers are already bearing fruit, often in quiet ways that will never be seen or recorded. Moments where someone is helped at the right time, protected from harm, or treated with dignity when they felt forgotten.

This work continues because God moves people to give, to pray, and to stand with us in practical and faithful ways. We are deeply thankful for that trust and support, and we do not take it lightly.

We move forward with gratitude and a strong sense of responsibility, trusting God to keep leading this work and to provide what is needed along the way.

“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good.” Psalm 107:1
